TRANSPORTATION GUIDELINES- Students going to a site other than their residence need a request submitted to school in written form, the alternate site should be in the district and on the bus route, seating is available, and lastly requests are approved on an “Annual Basis” they are not carried over from year to year. Please call the Transportation Dept. at 482-4610, x 3001 for route information. Mrs. McArdle handles every day bus notes and can be reached at 482-4610 x2154. -
STUDENT REGISTRATION/WITHDRAWALS-All Student Registration & Withdrawals are conducted by Mrs. Elisabeth Huggler, located in the Elementary School and can be reached at 482-4610 x3169. -

SCHOOL CLOSINGS- For information on School Closings tune to radio stations: WVOS(95.9), WSUL(98.3), WDLA(1270am or 92.1fm), WDNH(1590am or 95.3fm), WFJJ(90.5), WNBF(102.1) and information will be posted on our website:www.swcsd.org IMPORTANT KINDERGARTEN AND PRE-K REGISTATION INFORMATION Kindergarten Registration/Screening will be held on Thursday June 3rd and Friday June 4th this year. If your child will be 5 years old by December 1, 2010, please call the elementary office at 482-4610 ext. 2158 before March 15th to set up an appointment. At registration you will need to bring with you the child’s birth certificate, the child’s immunization record, the child’s social security card or number, proof of residency and custody papers if applicable. Pre-kindergarten screening will be held on Monday June 7th and Tuesday June 8th this year. Our pre-kindergarten class is not a universal pre-k class but a class for children who show developmental delays. If you have a child who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2010 and you would like to have them tested to see if he/she is eligible for our pre-k program, please contact the elementary office at 482-4610 ext. 2158 by March 15th to schedule an appointment. | |
