I am both honored and excited to have been appointed by the Board of Education as the Superintendent of Schools of Sullivan West.  While serving Sullivan West Schools for the past three and a half years as the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services and as a parent of children in our District, I have seen first-hand the wonderful work that our teachers, administrators, staff members, coaches, club advisors, and community members put into ensuring the success of our students, and I look forward to working with the larger Bulldog Community moving forward.  

As a native of Sullivan County, I recognize that Sullivan West Schools are highly respected and valued by our District’s residents and throughout our region.  Our District’s improvements in technology, social-emotional learning, and literacy practices over the past few years, in addition to our strong athletics and extracurricular programs, have furthered our schools’ reputation as terrific places to learn and work.  

Our Bulldogs also benefit from a close community that supports the efforts of our students. It continues to be a privilege to be a spectator at athletic events where the community rallies to support our sports teams’ achievements and as part of a packed auditorium during our choral and band concerts and our school’s musical productions.  All of these events showing the value that our School District community places in all aspects of school life.
