    Course Outline

      I.                   Course Requirements

    1.      Maintain a complete and organized notebook.

    2.      Homework assignments must be completed on the date due.

    3.      Participation in debates, class discussion and other class activities.

    4.      Completion of assigned reports, projects, and weekly current events.

    5.      Proper classroom behavior. Maintain respect for yourself and others at all times. Inappropriate behavior will not be accepted

    II.                 Grades: Your grades for each quarter will be based upon the following:

    1.      Tests     (200 pts)                                    2. Homework Assignments (100 pts)

    Throughout the semester we will be taking time to discuss information that addresses both current events and information learned in the 7th grade Curriculum. We will also take time to focus on preparation for the New York State test given to all eighth grade students at the end of this year. (June 2 or June 3)
