Sullivan West Standout, Amy Favre, Pre-K Teacher

It is a pleasure to recognize this week's Sullivan West Standout, Amy Favre, Pre-K teacher at the Elementary School.  Great job, Amy!

After 21 years as an educator, including 17 as a Kindergarten teacher, this week's Sullivan West Standout, Amy Favre, has seen it all when it comes to primary-level education.  With her move to Pre-Kindergarten this year, Amy continues to shine through her dedication to the best interests of her students and their educational experience.

"I love Pre-K!  We get to do so many hands-on activities.  I'm so happy, and I look forward to coming to work.  My team is amazing; they know what I need, before I even move.  They're all phenomenal.  Pre-K wouldn't be running as smooth as it does, without them.  I couldn't ask for two better classes."

Amy was nominated as a Standout by a colleague and parent of a student in her classroom, who reports that her daughter recently said, "Mrs. Favre doesn't sleep, silly!"  Her preparation, planning and focus on detail definitely makes her appear super-human to her young students!

Amy shared that she loves working at Sullivan West because of "...the community.  Everybody knows everybody.  It's like a big extended family.  Everybody is friendly, and that makes it a great place to work.  Who doesn't want to work with their family?"

Congratulations, Amy!
