Attention Fitness Center Participants!!   

Due to the generosity of additional Fitness Center Supervisor volunteers, we now have the ability to offer 3 new openings for our public to come and enjoy and use our Fitness Center. This will hopefully accommodate those that are looking for someplace to exercise after their work hours. Come and see what we have and enjoy the use of our state of the art Fitness Center. As always, please monitor our schedule posted on-line for changing hours. It is updated as changes occur.

WELCOME TO THE SULLIVAN WEST FITNESS CENTER

In October of 2011 the Sullivan West Central School District was awarded a Carol. M. White Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant.  This federal grant provided funds to initiate, expand, and enhance our physical education programs, including nutritional aspects and our after-school programs.  This grant was overseen by Dr. Lynda Bracken. 

With money from this PEP grant, our District purchased state-of-the-art exercise equipment and opened our own Fitness Center. 

Above is the weekly Fitness Center hours.  The Center is open to:

• Sullivan West Community members after 3:30pm on days designated on the chart.

As with all school activities, if after-school activities are canceled, the Fitness Center is closed.  Also, please be aware that a trained VOLUNTEER supervisor MUST be in the Fitness Center for it to be open for use.  There may be times when an emergency arises and we can’t find a trained supervisor to cover the times listed above, and the Fitness Center will have to be closed.  All of our supervisors are volunteering their time, so please show your appreciation by following all of the posted rules, signing in & out, and following any of the supervisor’s instructions.
